There's some really awesome stuff in this video. Having said that (sorry, Larry), I don't think the implications are that insane from an expectations standpoint. To be honest, I've expected something along these lines for a couple years now. In relation to what we're used to, there's very little technological advancement that would shock me anymore. If in 1990 someone had told our parents all the crazy shit that would be happening in 2009, they'd have never believed it. In this age of instantaneous connectivity, the technological breakthrough curve gets pretty damn steep at the top, and it's a little sad. I'd go so far as to say we've outdone ourselves. I'm still giddy with anticipation at all the cool stuff that's going down in the years to come. Anyone who really knows me knows that I'm a nerd at heart.

Commerce Casino's New Ad Campaign
Holy shit, this new campaign is hysterical. It features a bunch of really attractive women talking about how Commerce has all the glamour of Vegas, how fantastic the food is, how fabulous the cocktails are (they show some crazy blue martinis. i've never seen anyone eating/drinking anything besides flied lice/coffee there). It also shows one of these attractive girls in a black cocktail dress flirting with a good looking white gentleman at the blackjack table. Is she working? When was the last time anyone at those tables even spoke English? Some marketing genius saw that the ratio of men to women at Commerce was about 600:1 and decided they should do a female-focused campaign. Absurdity.

So i lost 170k today at 200/400
Shouldn't have been playing 200/400..sorta. Told myself I'd only play 25/50 for a while and make mirrions but whatever a shot is a shot and there was some fishy's in the game so WHAT EVER!
Lost AK to AQ aipf twice and KK to TJ preflop 50k+ pots. End rant. End life.
Banning myself for few days until I get my new macbook pro since the whole 25k huplo disaster disconnect blind out fiasco. woteva got the jakeys on.
After my short break or so gonna get back to the 25/50 plo streets so watch out bitches boobys gonna take your moneys. All of them actually.
In other news, thanksgiving was fantastic obviously all the highschool friends have been in town for a while been doing that chill thing you know how it be. Anyhoo time for some sleep aids, LATER RUNKLE.

Musings
I'm hoping that someday I can be a witness in a high profile courtroom trial and wear this tee-shirt
If I were a C-list celebrity in LA, one of the best ways to get noticed would probably to become a huge Clippers fan.
I've been wondering if there's an Adult Guiness Book of World Records somewhere. I'll leave the categories up to your imagination.
Harry IS the American Dream.
(Side note - If you're born rich, you can't really achieve the American Dream, which is kind of counter-intuitive to the idea of the American Dream)
John Wall is CRAZY good at basketball. I read a story on some sports site (a bit apocryphal) about an NBA scout who was doing a pros & cons chart on John Wall, and then opted to not even do one cause Wall doesn't need to work on anything besides his shooting. You can find his HIGH SCHOOL mixtape Here. He's ridiculous.
Vince Young looked great last night. Really, really good. Thank god for Prozac.
I hope I never have to experience a potato famine.
I'm going to NYC tomorrow. It's a magnificent city, of course, but aside from all its splendor, it's really effing cold this time of year, and the idea that I'm getting on a plane from California to a place that's 40 degrees and raining seems kind of silly. In fact, opting to live anywhere that has winter seems kind of silly. It's all silly. Can't beat spending quality time with the fam, though. Hope you all enjoy!

...And the start of our new blog. We're gonna be posting random musings, rants, anecdotes, the occasional nugget of poker wisdom, and some exciting poker pots that we (Harry) have won or lost. Hopefully by the morning of Turkey Day, he'll have posted a hand with a pot large enough to feed a small New Jersey town!
